Python/Django Developer
📍 İzmir
We are looking to recruit Python Developers for our İzmir office located at Ege University Teknopark. You will be working with a hybrid schedule of part-time in-office/part-time remotely from home.
As a developer you will;
- participate in all phases of the software development cycle from product definition and design through implementation and training
- have the responsibility to develop and maintain a service crucial to our customers daily operations
- actively participate in a lean product development process (influenced by Lean Startup), including bringing the engineering perspective to design activities
- participate in code review
- be involved in technical decisions
- actively participate in an agile development process, including contributing to story creation, estimation etc
- support the sales team with project scoping and estimation
You should get in touch if you:
- developed web applications and have comprehensive understanding of web application development
- comfortable with Unix based environments, preferably Ubuntu
- have experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- use git for version control
- fluent in written English to communicate with overseas team members
- live in Izmir
It’s even better if you:
- have experience in Python and Django Framework
- previously worked on an e-commerce project
- experience with front-end web development and common Javascript and CSS frameworks
- worked on distributed message queues like RabbitMQ using Celery
- have experience in Restful API development, particularly using django-rest-framework
- watched The Office multiple times
